Privacy

Collected sparingly, used once.

This site collects as little as a working contact form allows. Here is exactly what that means.

The short version

This site does not track you. There are no analytics scripts, no advertising, no cookies set for marketing, and no user accounts. The only information I receive is what you deliberately send through the contact form.

What is collected

The contact form collects what you type into it: your name, email address, an optional website, and your message.

That information is sent through a form-delivery service (Formspree) and delivered to me. It is used for one purpose: reading your note and replying to it.

What is not collected

This site installs no tracking or analytics tools. It sets no advertising cookies. It does not build profiles of visitors, does not sell or share information with anyone, and does not add you to any mailing list.

Browsing the site leaves no record with me beyond the ordinary server logs kept by the hosting provider, which are used for security and availability and are not used to identify visitors.

Third parties

Two services touch the site’s operation. The form-delivery service processes contact submissions so they arrive as email; its own privacy practices apply to that step. The hosting provider serves the site’s files. Neither is used to advertise to you or follow you around the web.

Links to external sites — including LinkedIn and X profiles — lead to services governed by their own policies, which this site does not control.

Retention and your choices

Contact submissions are retained as ordinary correspondence for as long as they remain useful, and are deleted when they are not. If you would like a copy of what was submitted on your behalf, or would like it deleted, send another note through the contact form and it will be handled.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the change will be reflected on this page. Questions are welcome through the contact form.
